DON'T live two separate lives and call it honesty in either one

DON'T preach commitment while betraying it

DON'T confuse "being unhappy" with "being available"

DON'T ask someone if they'd marry you when you are already married

DON'T sell someone a future you never intended to move into

DON'T tell someone that you love them and show them that you don't

DON'T give someone false hope for a future that exists in your imagination

DON'T say "I love you" when honesty clearly isn't part of the conversation

DON'T act like sustained betrayal was a brief lapse in judgment

DON'T reduce years of dishonesty into a convenient little footnote

DON'T expect trust to survive what required ongoing duplicity to maintain

DON'T insist you're an honest person if your "version of honesty" only arrives after you're caught

DON'T forget that the truth always comes out eventually, no matter how hard someone tries to hide it... lies are just a temporary delay

DON'T swear you're different while repeating the exact same deception pattern

DON'T say "I want to repair the marriage" to one, while telling another "I love you" and telling your children "I want to show you my integrity"

People do not abandon the people that they love, they abandon the people that they were using.

The worst part about a relationship with a fake person, isn't that they lied to you... it's that you believed it.
